At the stroke of midnight in the Rocky Mountains of a Colorado winter, a dog named Chloe ran into a bar introducing Jay Harootunian to Alexi Leon. Alexi was on a cultural exchange visa from Peru and Jay just happened to have a one-way ticket to Peru in his back pocket. Before sunrise they were making Music together, dedicated to harmonies, funky grooves, & dancing. They spent the next few years between Colorado & South America, tapping into the power of Music to heal & uplift lives.  Formed last year in Durango, Colorado, the full band consists of: Jay Harootunian-Vocals/Guitar, Alexandra Leon-Vocals/Percussion, Brian Aherne-Slide Guitar, Jesse Ogle-Bass, & Ted Moore-Drums/Vocals.
